Our Fortune 100 client has a fully REMOTE opening for a Lead Business Systems Consultant on a 12-month contract with the possibility for conversion. Your role would focus on requirements gathering, testing, and configuration of different components and modules related to several changes being made to their 401k administration platform. These changes will need to be made to their current platform - PeopleSoft, however they are in the middle of a migration to Workday, so these changes will also need to be made for that upcoming implementation. Their ideal candidate will have experience working with the financial (benefits, payroll, etc) modules with both PeopleSoft and Workday.



Day to day responsibilities:

- This contractor will work with representatives from HR, IT, Finance and Payroll to discuss the 401K migration.

- They will mitigate potential risks associated with the migration

- They will be confirming, researching, understanding and testing the 401k implementation project.

- Serve as an expert resource and provide direction for system issues and problem solving.

- Provide system design recommendations as it relates to business requirements.

- Work with IT to test changes

- Understand the changes and how it effects 401k plans

- Make changes to Fidelity plans as needed

- Work with Vendor updates in Peoplesoft that can help support the changes

- Query access and troubleshoot for investigative purposes

Essential Skills:


- PeopleSoft - understanding of Payroll, specifically related to the taxing portion and setting up 401K plans

- Workday - the understanding of Workday's benefits module, specifically, its 401K functionality (ex. Eligibility, contributions, matching, reporting etc.)

- Skilled in Query reporting from Peoplesoft

- Requirement gathering, change management, and communication

- Documentation of updates and documentation of test plans, execution, etc
