Technical Project Manager - Facilities & Networking
Position Overview:
The Technical Project Manager - Facilities & Networking will oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of technology and facilities modernization projects for public meeting and government spaces. This position will play a key role in the City Hall Renovation initiative, ensuring smooth integration of technology systems-including networking, ERP applications (such as Tyler Muni), and limited audiovisual components-within facility projects.
The role requires a strong background in scheduling, project coordination, and stakeholder management, as well as experience supporting network and infrastructure teams. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple workstreams, ensuring milestones and breakout plans are effectively tracked and executed.

responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of facility and technology integration projects, from planning and design to implementation and closeout.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules, including breakout plans, timelines, and dependencies.
- Work closely with the Network Infrastructure and Telecom Division to support network, connectivity, and system integration activities.
- Coordinate with internal departments to align ERP systems (e.g., Tyler Muni) and facility operations with project goals.
- Oversee project budgets, procurement activities, and vendor contracts to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Organize and lead stakeholder meetings (in-person or virtual), capturing action items, and ensuring follow-up and accountability.
- Track and report project progress, risks, and issues to leadership and stakeholders.
- Apply industry best practices in IT and facilities project management to ensure quality outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards, policies, and applicable regulations.
- Support limited audiovisual technology coordination as part of overall facility technology integration (approx. 10% of the role).
qualifications:
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), 5+ years in technology/facilities projects, ERP and network experience, strong communication and organizational skills. PMP preferred.
