We are looking for an experienced media investment planner to join a team of results-driven marketers to provide strategic media investment recommendations and manage a multi-million-dollar media budget.

As a leader on the team, you will help drive the platform's investment strategy across above and below the line media including Annual upfront commitments. You will also be responsible for analyzing and making recommendations based off a variety of inputs, including platform data, MTA, and MMM. You'll work closely with our Strategic Insights Team and agencies to shape our medium- and long-term investment strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for our media agencies when it relates to media investment across all channels.
  • Work with external agencies and third parties to develop media investment strategies that enhance marketing effectiveness and support the delivery of our KPI's.
  • Manage budget allocations and pacing, liaising between agencies and finance.
  • Provide counsel on marketplace trends and investment expertise for internal stakeholders.
  • Be a thought leader in alternative buying models & integrated projects.
  • Consistently drive the use of analytics to inform/validate investment strategies, tactical planning, and on-going optimizations across all media.
  • Oversee billing discrepancies.
  • On a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, actualize in-market spend and forecast future spend along with our internal finance team.
  • Collaborate with Media Operations and Finance on processes and workflows to ensure that invoices, IOs, and other agreements are processed in a timely and organized way.
  • Participate in discussions and negotiations with media vendors in order to source direct advertising and sponsorship opportunities that complement Peacock's paid-for media and integrated marketing strategies.
  • Develop strategic recommendations for long-range marketing investment and media planning, leveraging data from MMM and MTA to inform decisions.
  • Input into our channel investment choices working closely with internal and external stakeholders becoming a single source of the media truth.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years' experience in media planning or investment in either an agency or in-house paid media role. Subscription experience preferred, with experience in the streaming industry highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and drive strategic media recommendations for large, complex organizations.
  • Experience leading and managing a team is required.
  • Experience working with and managing relationships with an outside agency strongly preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical capabilities
  • Strong project management and interpersonal skills, with ability to take initiative in a challenging, fast-paced environment of multiple priorities.
  • Team-oriented, with confidence in interaction with multiple stakeholders and external partners

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary Range: $155,000-$170,000 (bonus eligible
