We are seeking a skilled Appian BPM Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise-level business process applications. Position Description
We are seeking a skilled Appian BPM Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise-level business process applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Appian development, enterprise integration, and cloud-based solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, optimizing system performance, and ensuring seamless deployment in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, modify, integrate, test, deploy, and support enterprise-level Appian BPM applications.
- Translate business process software requirement specifications into Appian process model prototypes and solutions.
- Implement enterprise integrations using DB2, Sybase, Ping, Active Directory, AWS, and other internal systems.
- Develop a library of reusable Appian components for the enterprise.
- Participate in planning activities such as impact assessments, effort estimation, and task assignments.
- Conduct design reviews to validate architecture compliance and best practices.
- Perform regular code reviews to ensure high-quality development standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Deliver knowledge transfer sessions to onboard new team members.
- Participate in on-call production support rotation.
- Lead troubleshooting sessions for production issues and drive resolution.
- Collaborate with IT Shared Services partners to resolve system-related incidents.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Information Technology.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Appian BPM applications, specifically version 24.x or higher.
- Working knowledge of Appian architecture.
- Experience with EKS and Appian Cloud.
- Strong technical and analytical skills for system troubleshooting and optimization.
- Ability to tune system performance and design for scalability.
- Expertise in relational databases (SQL, DB2, Sybase), XML, and web services (SOAP/REST).
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design principles.
- Familiarity with business process modeling and optimization techniques.
- Exposure to enterprise-scale environments, infrastructure, and distributed system design.
