Join Our Team as a Human Resources (HR) and Talent Acquisition Manager:
G2 Software Systems, Inc. (G2SS) is seeking an HR and Talent Acquisition Manager to support day-to-day HR operations and recruiting for our employee-owned small business of 36 years. This role reports directly to the Vice President.

About the Role:
As the HR and Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be the HR point of contact for employees and new hires (approx. 120-170 personnel). This position is suited for someone who is comfortable working in a small, hands-on environment where the HR function is compact, and the responsibilities are broad. The role involves balancing routine HR tasks with general office needs when required.

Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition & Outreach: Partner with managers on staffing needs and handle full-cycle recruiting, sourcing, scheduling, and outreach.
  • HR Operations: Handle onboarding, offboarding, HR data entry, personnel files, and leave programs (e.g. FMLA, ADA, PFMLA, etc.). Serve as the primary HR contact and assist with employee engagement initiatives. Coordinate benefits, open enrollment, and support compensation benchmarking, and salary recommendations. Maintain HR compliance, update policies/handbooks, support internal audits and reporting, and coordinate with the FSO when needed.
  • Projects & Leadership Support: Assist with small-business operational tasks such as supporting company events and helping with various administrative activities as required.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Four (4) or more years of HR operations and recruiting experience in DoD related field.
  • Knowledge of federal and multi-state employment laws.
  • Comfortable handling both hands-on administrative and complex HR tasks.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels inside and outside the company.
  • Ability to operate independently while collaborating closely with senior leadership.
  • This position requires an individual to be a and either have, or be able to obtain, and retain a DoD clearance.

  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP)
  • SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP)
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR)
  • Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to navigate each department at the assigned facility (G2 front office).

Location:

This is a full-time, on-site position based in San Diego, CA, where you ll work side by side with the front office staff and executive team to achieve goals. Being on-site allows us to deliver the hands-on support our employees rely on, fostering collaboration, innovation, and real-time problem-solving.

Compensation and Benefits:

The compensation range for this position in California is $95,000/year to $130,000/year, depending on your expertise, and market location conditions.
