Reporting to the Head of Engineering, as a member of the Tiburon AI Advanced Team you will focus on exploration and implementation of applied ML to developer and content creator workflows for all of Tiburon's titles. You will work closely with the Sports Head of Machine Learning, the Sports Head of Tech Art, the Studio Technical Art Director and Studio Head of Engineering to share learnings and find novel applications of ML to benefit EA's American Football Simulation titles.

Responsibilities
- Stay up to date on current developments in ML and Gen AI
- Represent the studio in conversations about ML technical priorities with internal applied research teams and Sports technical leadership
- You will provide strategy, visibility, and prioritization to drive ubiquitous usage of ML across our American Football titles
- Work across Sports and the Frostbite team to align on shared technology stacks
- Partner closely with game team technical and production leadership to ensure game team perspectives are considered in your strategy
- Identify bottlenecks and AI based methods for solving problems that traditional methods cannot
- Prototype and write technical designs for AI based improvements to developer and content creator workflows
- Proactively share knowledge across the studio and the Sports organization
- Provide positive, consistent, thoughtful, and reassuring leadership through all aspects of change management within a fast-paced, global, agile software development environment.
Qualifications
- 10+ yr of experience in the development of game engines and/or AAA game development.
- 5+ years of applied ML development in a gaming or simulation environment
- 5+ years of hands on experience with Frostbite and/or other AAA game engines
- Proven track record of navigating complex development environments and working closely with stakeholders to guide architectural decisions.
- Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as Transformers, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
- Proven leadership ability to mentor and guide multiple engineers while driving project success.
