Description
The Client Engineer I is responsible for being tier I support in troubleshooting of advanced IT related problems including in-house and 3rd party software applications to IT hardware.

Essential Functions:
Image and assist in deployment of desktops, laptops, iPhones and iPads as needed for new hires, role changes and hardware swaps
Research, resolve and respond to problems/requests received from the IT Service Desk in a timely fashion and in accordance with the end user service level agreement
Perform after hours on-call duties
Log all calls in the Incident Management System
Publish support documentation to assist staff with request for information and provide staff training if required
Setup, disconnect, reconnect and move computers, phones and peripherals complying with enterprise standards
Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware, software systems and licenses
Assists in maintaining companies Operating System images
Assists in managing network printers
Assists in tracking and updating the movement of IT assets
Assists in maintaining hardware and software inventories
Research and evaluate solutions for hardware and software
Perform any other job duties as requested

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED is required
Associates degree is preferred
Zero to three (0-3) years of experience supporting a minimum 100 user computing environment is preferred

Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent communication skills
Excellent organization skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office
Technical knowledge of PC hardware, iPhone and iPads
Basic Active Directory knowledge
Network troubleshooting
Knowledge of software and hardware deployment tools required for deploying images in a enterprise environment
Basic knowledge of Group Policy

Licensure and Certification:
CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician is preferred

Working Conditions:
General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
May be required to work a flexible schedule in order to meet the needs of the business, including evenings, weekends, and on-call hours
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
