Program Manager - Copilot Chat & Search Release Management

? About the Role

We're looking for a seasoned Program Manager to orchestrate the release lifecycle for Copilot Chat & Search-one of the most dynamic and revenue-generating AI products in the enterprise space. This role sits at the heart of our GenAI experiences team, which delivers premium and starter AI capabilities across Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and other endpoints. You'll be the go-to expert for coordinating feature rollouts, managing dependencies, and ensuring smooth delivery across audiences and form factors.

Responsibilities

• Release Coordination: Own the end-to-end release management lifecycle for Copilot Chat & Search. Plan, schedule, and orchestrate releases across multiple endpoints and audiences.
• Project Tracking: Maintain a centralized view of all feature rollouts using Azure DevOps Boards and Queries. Track dependencies and ensure readiness across teams.
• Release Tracker Ownership: Build and maintain a living repository of rollout schedules and feature availability. Drive accountability to keep it current and reliable.
• Shiproom & Product Reviews: Lead weekly shiproom meetings and bi-weekly product reviews. Serve as the single point of contact for leadership and partner teams regarding release status and projections.
• Communication & Reporting: Publish detailed meeting notes, decisions, and follow-up actions. Provide clear, consistent updates to stakeholders.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks to release success, including bugs, performance issues, and late-breaking dependencies.
• Process Improvement: Continuously refine release processes and tooling. Drive initiatives to streamline workflows and support a DevOps/Continuous Delivery culture.
