Job Details

Job title: QA/BA Analyst Duration: Long Term
Location: Fort Lauderdale FL/ Dallas TX / New York

 

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements, workflows, and objectives.

  • Create detailed requirement specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

  • Translate business needs into functional specifications for developers.

  • Support UAT by coordinating with end users and ensuring the delivered solution meets business expectations.

<>Quality Assurance Responsibilities (Manual Testing):</>

  • Design, develop, and execute manual test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.

  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.

  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.

  • Work closely with the development team to clarify issues and ensure timely resolution.

  • Maintain test documentation and assist in the creation of test summary reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in manual testing and business analysis.

  • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.

  • Ability to write clear and concise documentation (BRDs, FSDs, test cases, etc.).

  • Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Excel, and manual test management tools.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with SQL for basic data validation.

  • Exposure to test management tools such as TestRail, HP ALM, or Zephyr.

  • Knowledge of automation basics is a plus but not mandatory.

  • Domain knowledge in [e.g., finance, healthcare, insurance] is an added advantage.

  • Certifications such as ISTQB, CBAP, or similar are a plus.
