Job Title: Regulatory Reporting Business Analyst
Location: Stamford, CT | Hybrid
Duration: Long-Term contract
Required Skills:
- 3+ years AxiomSL/ControllerView experience, Adenza interaction,
- Strong understanding of SQL, Oracle Databases and PL/SQL to support the development and review of PL/SQL code associated with data sourcing into Axiom.
- Understanding end to end data flow from database to Axiom platform and reporting.
- Ability to design, develop, and implement AxiomSL objects like Data Sources, Data Models, Portfolios, Aggregations.
- Prior AxiomSL development, unit testing portfolios, aggregations, nodes, shorthand development and thorough free form/tabular report dependency testing.
- Experience with US, EMEA or APAC regulatory reporting and requirements, business analysis, financial reporting. (preferred)
Job Description:
Regulatory Reporting Business Analyst (Technical)
The Client requires a Business Analyst to support the implementation of US and European regulatory reporting and associated processes including control and related remediation of identified issues (i.e., data quality, processing, result substantiation, etc.). The identified resource will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders within
Finance and Information Technology to ensure expected and appropriate oversight, results of process design and implementation, and operational risk and controls including:
Documentation of policy and procedures
Implementation of key risk (KRI) monitoring
Developing a framework and workflow model for data/report attestation and certification
Develop/modify End-to-End data/process flows including controls
Documentation of business requirements to support manual processes, automation enhancements, reconciliation processes
Leveraging AxiomSL objects (i.e., tables, aggregations, workflows, mappings, logic/rules, and shorthands) to validate results or investigate root cause of differences.
Develop/modify underlying logic and business rules associated with requirement changes.
Liaise with Technology team to implement and test developed reporting changes and/or investigate processing issues.
Documentation of lineage of identified key data elements
Develop working papers and related documentation to support necessary adjustments.
Support stakeholder training of US and/or European Regulatory Reporting
Generate reporting restatements (where applicable)

Supplemental scope of Regulatory Reporting (European)
Minimum 5-10 years' experience in financial services supporting regulatory reporting
Bachelor's degree
Strong proficiency in AxiomSL (v10 preferred) including tables, aggregations, reports, workflows, mappings, logic/rules, and shorthands
Prior experience in Regulatory Reporting and/or Regulatory Remediation
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Experience in documentation of workpapers in line with regulator expectations
Familiarity with in-scope FRB Regulatory Reporting and related requirements (preferred)
Proficiency in process flow design
Strong communication skills (written/oral)
Organized and detail oriented
Ability to be flexible in balancing priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with employees at all levels
