Middleware Programmer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Houston, TX that is seeking a Middleware Programmer who often takes a leadership role or collaborates closely with project leads or managers. This person is known for a creative, solutions-oriented approach and the flexibility to adapt to evolving technical needs.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Experienced in reviewing, analyzing, and enhancing existing programming systems, with capabilities spanning coding, testing, debugging, and documentation
* 6-8 years of relevant industry experience and demonstrates strong familiarity with standard concepts, best practices, and procedures within the field
* Able to work independently using sound judgment to plan and execute complex tasks, while also contributing to team objectives
* Hands-on experience as an App Connect Enterprise (ACE) Developer
* Deep understanding of IBM ACE/IIB development, including ESQL, Java, and common integration patterns
* Proficient in working with web services (SOAP/REST) and related technologies such as XML and JSON
* Skilled in handling various data formats and applying effective data transformation techniques
* Strong knowledge of message-oriented middleware, particularly IBM MQ and associated technologies

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
