Description
We are looking for a DevOps Associate Release Engineer to join our team in Westlake, Ohio. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining system environments and ensuring smooth deployment processes. The position involves managing configurations, synchronizing databases, updating tools, and overseeing production patching to keep systems functional and up-to-date.
Responsibilities:
Manage and provide support for various system environments.
Perform database synchronization across multiple environments.
Execute internal deployments and configuration changes.
Update and maintain essential software tools.
Conduct production deployments, including monthly production patching.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure deployment accuracy and efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve deployment-related issues.
Maintain documentation for deployment processes and system configurations.
Implement automated deployment processes to improve efficiency.
Work with offshore development teams to coordinate deployment activities.
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT or equivalent role.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
Experience with SQL Server and batch applications.
Preferred qualifications include a degree in Computer Science, IT bootcamp experience, or equivalent work history.
Knowledge of job scheduling tools like ActiveBatch is a plus.
Familiarity with Agile development practices and Git source control is advantageous.
