RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Atlanta, GA that is seeking a CE Facility Support Engineer - Electrical 3.
Summary:
As a Data Center Technician, you will have the opportunity to develop an understanding of standard processes and procedures for preparing, installing, performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, replacing, and/or decommissioning equipment. You will work with experienced technicians and direct-line management to complete assigned tickets efficiently and in alignment with relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Responsibilities:
* Support electrical infrastructures throughout datacenter campus ranging from a single, large-capacity facility to several smaller ones
* Remote Power Panel (RPP) shutdown of 1 source; Critical Load is still supplied through one source (-N-)
* PDU shutdown for power meter replacement; Power Interruption Testing (PIT)
* Master controller shutdown or replacement
REQUIREMENTS:
* High School diploma/GED, or equivalent
* 5+ year(s) of work/applied learning experience in technical fields (e.g. automotive, electrical, controls, data center)
* Must hold an OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification
* Qualified Electrical Worker experience preferred
* Experience with electrical systems in a high availability assembly/manufacturing/critical infrastructure environments such as data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or related fields
* Able to work a flexible work schedule which could include 12-hour shifts, rotating shifts, 3, 4, or 5 day work weeks
* Experience with building management systems (EPMS)
* Basic understanding of how to use Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
* Previous datacenter experience a plus
* Fundamental understanding of the National Electrical Code
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
