Client is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Android Developer with strong experience in Java and Kotlin to design, build, and maintain high-quality mobile applications.
Design, develop, and maintain applications for the Android platform.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Ensure code quality, performance, and responsiveness of applications.
Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and debugging.
5+ years of experience in Android application development.
Proficient in Kotlin and Java.
Strong understanding of the Android app development lifecycle and architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, MVP).
Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
Experience publishing apps to Google Play.
Cross-platform frameworks (e.g., Flutter, React Native) a plus, not mandatory.
Unit/UI testing tools (e.g., Espresso, JUnit) exposure preferred, not mandatory.
Understanding of Android security best practices.
Familiarity with Firebase, analytics tools, and performance monitoring.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
