Job Role : functional PMO - Project Management Office/ Project Coordinator/ Project Analyst/ Program Coordinator

Location : Onsite in Austin, TX- 2 days onsite. (Local candidates needed who can work twice a week)

Job Type : W2 Contract

6 to 8 yrs exp. Required.(Max 10 yrs.)

Note we are looking for PMO Who is functional not technical

Key Responsibilities:

Program Budget Management:

Develop, monitor, and manage program and project budgets.

Track actuals vs. forecast and provide variance analysis.

Support financial reporting and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Resources & Team Allocation:

Maintain and update resource allocation plans across multiple projects.

Coordinate with delivery leads to ensure optimal resource utilization.

Identify resource gaps and support hiring or reallocation efforts.

Project & Program Spend Tracking:

Track and report on project-level and program-level expenditures.

Maintain dashboards and trackers for spend visibility and control.

Ensure compliance with financial governance and audit requirements.

Reporting & Communication:

Prepare executive-level presentations and reports using PowerPoint.

Create and maintain Excel-based trackers, dashboards, and models.

Facilitate regular status updates and reviews with stakeholders.

Governance & Process Support:

Support PMO governance processes, templates, and best practices.

Assist in risk, issue, and change management tracking.

Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO tools and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum 6 years of experience in a PMO, program coordination, or project support role.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts) and PowerPoint (executive presentations).

Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking.

Familiarity with resource management tools and project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).

Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with tools like MS Project, Smartsheet, JIRA, or Power BI.

Exposure to enterprise-level programs or global delivery models.

PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification (optional but a plus).
