Job Details

Cognizant is seeking a Desktop Support Technician for a full-time opportunity in New York City, NY.

The salary range for this role is between $50,000 and $57,000 depending on the skills and experience of the candidate. Qualified candidates must have valid US work authorization. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive support for end-user tools ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
  • Oversee the deployment and maintenance of Nexthink leveraging its capabilities to monitor and enhance system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues by minimizing downtime and improving productivity.
  • Implement best practices for desktop support ensuring a seamless experience for users in a hybrid work environment.
  • Conduct regular system audits and updates to maintain security and compliance standards.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions for users to maximize the utilization of end user tools.
  • Analyze system data to identify trends and recommend improvements for enhanced efficiency.
  • Assist in the development of technical documentation and user guides to support system operations.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Monitor system performance metrics and provide reports to management for informed decision-making.
  • Support the integration of new technologies and tools to enhance the overall IT infrastructure.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in all technical operations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT services aligning with the company's strategic goals.
