Job Details

Role: Enterprise Engineer (Cybersecurity Infrastructure Specialist)

Location: Atlanta, GA 30324

Duration: 6-12 months+ contract

Department & Reporting Line:

Information Security Office of Incident Response; reports to the Manager of Incident Response.

Position Summary/Purpose:

Provide hands-on deployment, tuning, and lifecycle support for key cybersecurity systems (endpoint protection, firewall policies, VPN, secure DNS, email security, threat intel integrations).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, deploy, and support controls across infrastructure; support vulnerability assessments and remediation
  • Build and support security infrastructure (log collectors, NTP, backups, identity federation)
  • Assist with automation (PowerShell/Python) for configuration compliance and reporting
  • Support containment and remediation during incidents

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's in related field; 5+ years in infrastructure engineering/system hardening/cyber ops; experience with firewalls, endpoint protection, AD security; at least one certification (Security+, SC-200, Cisco CyberOps, or equivalent).

Preferred Qualifications:

Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert, GSEC; DHS/FTA/TSA governed environments; ITIL; STIGs/CIS.

Skills/Competencies:

Networking/OS admin, documentation, root-cause analysis; collaboration in fast-paced environments.

Working Conditions & Clearance:

On-site at cybersecurity facility; on-call for changes/incidents; data center work as needed; DHS/TSA eligibility
