ECS is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to work in our Memphis, TN office hybrid. Remote candidates considered.

We're seeking a highly experienced Senior Cloud Engineer with a strong background in software development, cloud infrastructure, and client engagement. This role is ideal for a versatile technologist who thrives in fast-paced environments, quickly adapts to new tools and platforms, and consistently delivers innovative solutions to support our USPS client. Moving from On-Prem services to the cloud can be a challenge and we need a seasoned engineer who will embrace this effort working with a collaborative team of developers and architects to ensure that modernization happens for our customer. You will be a key player in these efforts.

You should be able to apply sound analysis, business practices, and scientific expertise to solve a wide variety of customer problems. Apply expert knowledge to determine accuracy and reasonableness of data. Documents and summarizes the results and develop, recommend, and implement creative and innovative solutions to the customer's problems. You are an expert in computer science, business, or engineering. Is capable of mentoring or training other team members and sharing their expertise within and across contracts, organizational boundaries and with Customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate cloud infrastructure and data with expert-level precision to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance.
  • Research and analyze customer requirements, document findings, and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures.
  • Lead the development and deployment of web applications, APIs, and automation tools across diverse technology stacks.
  • Contribute early and effectively to new projects by rapidly learning and applying new coding languages, infrastructure-as-code tools, and cloud ecosystems.
  • Document and summarize results, and develop, recommend, and implement creative solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Mentor and train team members, sharing cloud and software expertise, organizational boundaries.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 8 years of experience in cloud engineering, software development, or a closely related area
  • Proven success working with clients to gather, document, and implement requirements
