; Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer with a strong background in IMS and modernization of legacy systems.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS, VSAM, and CICS, and will contribute to modernization and migration initiatives including cloud transformation, automation, and Java-based modernization efforts.

; Key Responsibilities Analyze and understand requirements for mainframe modernization and legacy migration projects.Develop and maintain programs using COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS, VSAM, and CICS.Participate in modernization efforts including migration from On-Prem to Cloud (Azure) and to Micro Focus environments.Work with automation tools and Python to define and develop problem statements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams in designing and implementing legacy migration strategies.Lead or contribute to LMCOE (Legacy Migration Center of Excellence) initiatives.Troubleshoot production issues using mainframe diagnostic tools.Contribute to Agile teams by participating in planning, estimation, and development cycles.Support documentation efforts including business requirement specifications and technical designs.Provide technical insights and participate in the development life cycle of modernization products.

; Required Qualifications 8 to 12 years of experience in mainframe and modernization environments.Proficient in COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS, VSAM, and CICS.Hands-on experience with Java Full Stack Development and Python in the context of modernization.Experience with mainframe to cloud migrations (e.g., to Azure) and On-Prem migrations.Familiarity with Micro Focus migration tools and approaches.Strong experience in troubleshooting and production support in mainframe environments.Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.Understanding of Agile methodologies and product development life cycles.

; Preferred Qualifications Experience with distributed systems and Java-based modernization frameworks.Exposure to automation in migration and modernization processes.
