Description

Our client is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on development experience to join their team in Johnston, IA. This is a hybrid role (4 days onsite, 1 day remote) with a 6-month contract-to-hire pathway for the right candidate. What You'll Be Doing
  • Design, develop, and deploy enterprise applications.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
  • Review, write, and optimize code while enforcing development best practices.
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines and release processes in Azure DevOps.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide occasional on-call support.
  • Mentor peers and contribute to process and technical improvements.


Requirements

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong expertise with Microsoft SQL Server (SSIS, SSRS, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Triggers, optimization).
  • Proven experience with:
  • C#.NET (WCF, MVC)
  • HTML, CSS, jQuery, VUE.JS
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2018+
  • Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux
  • Azure deployment/management
  • GIT source control
  • Excel Macros
  • Knowledge of security best practices, application security, and infrastructure.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
