Job Description:
- Fullstack QA Engineer that can help with testing the Point-of-Sale (POS) systems from end-to-end.
- The engineer should be proficient in debugging native mobile applications as well as the backend Java stack.
- The engineer should be able to create automated UI and API tests to ensure efficiency and consistent quality.
- The engineer should be communicative and detailed-oriented when documenting and communicating bugs, issues and status.
- It is plus if the engineer already has prior experience with POS systems.
Special Skills:
- Knowledgeable and experience with testing Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
- Proficient in debugging iOS & Android mobile apps.
- Experience with end-to-end testing across multiple systems from POS to backend services verifying UI/UX, data persisted and in-transit.
- Knowledgeable and experience with testing SpringBoot Java microservices and databases in the Cloud Microsoft Azure & Oracle Cloud.
- Experience and ability to create automated UI using Appium framework.
- Experience and ability to create automated API tests using Karate framework.
- Experience with development tools such as Docker, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Android Studio, Xcode, IntelliJ or VSCode.
- Experience with debugging through logs or application performance monitoring (APM) tools such as Google Cloud Logs and New Relic.
- Ability to create detailed test plans and review with the Team.
- Clear communicator and documenter.
- Experience with working in a cross-functional team.
- Knowledgeable and experience with software best practices and able to uphold standards to ensure quality.
