Description

We are in the process of recruiting a Product Manager for our Hi Tech Engineering team based in Seattle, Washington. The Product Manager will be a crucial player in our team, providing direction for the development of our terminal operating systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop and deliver product vision, contribute to the customer and client experience, and foster a self-organizing culture within the team.

Responsibilities:

Guide the product development process to maximize results and ensure reliability.

Serve as an expert on the rail product, providing valuable insights and direction.

Collaborate with leadership, product team members, and stakeholders to develop and convey product vision.

Lead activities across product teams to deliver an end-to-end customer and client experience.

Foster a self-organizing culture within the team, promoting the achievement of OKRs for continued product success.

Utilize skills in Agile Development, IT project management, and Application Design to guide the product lifecycle management.

Develop business cases for product development initiatives.

Oversee the application development process, ensuring quality and efficiency.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a product management role within the Hi Tech Engineering industry
Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done
Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
Demonstrated ability to drive the product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery
Experience with Agile Development and principles
Proficient in IT Project Management
Skilled in Application Design
Expertise in Product Lifecycle Management
Experience in Business Case Development
Proficient in Application Development
Must be able to travel as needed and perform other job-related duties as required.
