Location: REMOTE
Schedule: M-F, 40hrs a week
Length of Contract: 18 Months

Description:
We are seeking a Senior RELAP Safety Analysis Engineer to support nuclear utility safety analysis and transient modeling. This is a remote position with occasional travel to site, offered as a 12-month contract with potential for extension.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in RELAP5 and have a strong background performing thermal-hydraulic safety and transient analyses for Pressurized Water Reactors (PWRs). Experience working directly with NRC-regulated nuclear utilities is required, along with a clear understanding of licensing requirements and regulatory compliance.
Candidates must have experience with the specific reactor type(s) they have worked on and be able to apply that knowledge to plant-specific safety evaluations and modeling.
A Bachelor s or advanced degree in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field is required. The individual must be capable of independently executing complex safety analyses, preparing regulatory documentation, and effectively collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
