Job Title: Senior Identity & Access Management (IAM) Administrator - Consulting
Location: Herndon, VA (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, Tuesday-Thursday)

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IAM Administrator to join our consulting team. This role will serve as a subject matter expert in identity and access management, delivering secure, compliant identity solutions aligned with organizational policies and CMMC requirements. You will lead user lifecycle processes, enforce access governance, integrate IAM platforms with enterprise systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security and compliance in a hybrid enterprise environment.
A critical aspect of this role involves advanced PowerShell scripting for automation across Active Directory, Azure AD, and related services. You will develop and maintain scripts to streamline provisioning, deprovisioning, bulk updates, and auditing, while also supporting incident resolution and ongoing IAM system optimization.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as SME for IAM systems such as Microsoft Entra, Okta, and Active Directory.
- Design, implement, and document IAM processes for performance monitoring, troubleshooting, capacity planning, change management, and disaster recovery.
- Develop automation scripts (primarily in PowerShell) for IAM tasks and integrations.
- Manage identity integrations across Azure AD, Active Directory, and third-party SaaS platforms.
- Implement and maintain access policies, Conditional Access rules, MFA, and related compliance controls.
- Lead IAM-related incident diagnosis, root cause analysis, and resolution.
- Create technical diagrams, workflows, and documentation for IAM environments.
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Cloud Operations, and Systems Administration teams.
- Evaluate and integrate new IAM technologies and industry best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT, or equivalent professional experience.
- 7+ years of IT experience, including at least 4 years in IAM administration.
- Expert-level PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra, Azure Active Directory Connect, ADFS, LDAP, and Okta integration.
- Knowledge of IAM protocols and standards (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, MFA, FIDO2, YubiKey).
- Experience implementing Conditional Access, DLP, sensitivity labels, and related security features.
- Strong understanding of Active Directory Group Policy and PKI.
- Experience with API integrations and REST fundamentals.
- Familiarity with CMMC guidelines and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
- Azure administration expertise (compute, networking, cost/usage analysis, resource management).
- Professional certifications (MCSE, MCITP, AZ900, AZ104, AZ303/304, Okta certifications).
- Linux administration (SUSE, RedHat, or CentOS).
- Experience with SIEM integration, monitoring, and backup tools.
- Familiarity with NIST 800-53 rev 4 security guidelines.
