Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Audiovisual Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with senior engineers and project managers to design and engineer AV systems for various environments, including corporate, commercial, educational, and entertainment spaces. The ideal candidate will assist in system design, commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization while ensuring the highest standards of quality and performance in the audiovisual systems developed.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and engineer audiovisual systems tailored to corporate, commercial, educational, and entertainment environments.
  • Develop system schematics, signal flow diagrams, equipment lists, and technical documentation to support project execution.
  • Assist with system commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to ensure seamless operation.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure smooth project execution and alignment with project goals.
  • Stay abreast of emerging audiovisual technologies and industry trends, incorporating innovative solutions into design work.
  • Support project setup, including the creation of equipment lists, detail development, and preparation of necessary contract documents.
  • Assist with performing calculations using industry-standard software and contribute to the development of reports and specifications.
  • Ensure adherence to project budgets and timelines, maintaining a high standard of work throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in continuous educational training to further develop expertise in the field.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Acoustics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience with Revit modeling is preferred.
  • Industry standard certifications such as CTS, CTS-D, RCDD, Network +
  • Proficiency in audiovisual design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, EASE, and other related tools, with the ability to quickly learn new software.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts.
  • Strong ability to follow both written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to work overtime as required to meet project deadlines.
  • Certifications from industry manufacturers including Extron, Creston, Q-SYS, Biamp, etc.
