Job Title: .NET Developer
Location: Springfield, IL
Duration: Long Term

Job Summary:
We are seeking two experienced .NET Developers who will also serve as mentors to assist with the re-engineering and modernization of an enterprise case management system. The current system is built using Java and an outdated framework. The re-development will be done using Microsoft .NET technologies in alignment with modern web application architecture and accessibility standards.

The selected consultants will work closely with internal IT teams to develop, train, and transfer knowledge throughout the engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Re-write and modernize an existing legacy case management system using Microsoft .NET Core and associated technologies.
Ensure development adheres to enterprise software development standards, technical architecture, and accessibility compliance.
Integrate other applications and databases into the newly developed system as needed.
Provide mentorship and hands-on training to internal development staff on .NET technologies and best practices.
Create and deliver technical documentation, including SOPs, training materials, and final knowledge transfer reports.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for application integration, testing, and deployment.
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft .NET Development
Minimum 2 years of experience with .NET Core
Minimum 2 years of experience with C# version 8
Minimum 2 years of experience with Entity Framework version 6
At least 1 year of experience with ASP.NET Core MVC (Core 6) and SQL Server 2019
2 years of experience with Teradata and DB2 database systems
2 years of experience with Java
2 years of experience with JavaScript, Struts, and WebSphere
Documentation Requirement:
