Location Requirement: The primary work location will be 4616 W. Howard Lane, Building 2, Suite 275, Austin, TX 78728.

Program will only accept LOCAL ONLY candidates for this position.

Position will be 4 days remote with 1 day (Wednesdays) required to be onsite at the location listed above. Program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA ONLY. Schedule can be subject to change if needed.

These positions will perform highly advanced (senior-level) business analysis work for the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC). Work involves analyzing system requirements and project deliverables for the Texas Management Information System (MIS) transition to WIC Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) system and making recommendations for strategic system improvements. Works under minimal supervision, with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

  • Troubleshoots and consults on system problems and develops workable solutions.
  • Develops training curricula and conducts formal training sessions covering assigned system modules.
  • Designs, develops, coordinates, and conducts test cases for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Reviews technical instructions to system users and provides feedback to business leads.
  • Reviews completed requirements, complex project deliverables, design document plans, and provides comments to vendor application partners.
  • Reviews and analyzes system dual participation records.

Required Skills:

  • Consults and escalates project decisions to the business lead for final decisions and approval of complex project deliverables.
  • Proactively identifies potential project risks and provides strategies for mitigation to the business leads.
  • Track progress to ensure project deliverables are completed on time.
  • Develop and complete test plans to validate solutions.
  • Provides quality customer service to external and internal customers by prompt responses to inquiries, taking the initiative to solve problems, exercising flexibility, and seek improvements in the advanced planning and business processes.
  • Provides guidance and explains processes to interested groups and team members
  • Provides quality customer service by responding to all inquiries and requests promptly.
  • Reviews Sprint summary reports.
