- 6+ years of technical product management experience
- Project experience within transportation initiatives specifically around LTL (Less Than Truckload) & parcel
- LTL experience is preferred, rather than general transportation/logistics domain experience
- Heavy experience with transportation management systems (Descartes is a plus)
- Strong understanding of 3PL networks
- International transportation familiarity relative to EDI differences & country-specific requirements
- Experience in England & Canadian country-specific requirements is a plus
- Experience in onboarding new domestic carriers
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management skills
- Coming from a technical environment working with engineers (not just from the business/operations side)
- Day to day experience with working with business stakeholders,, gathering requirements, writing user stories, and working with development teams to execute on feature/functionality or enhancements of systems/applications.
- Experience working in an Agile environment and with Jira.
- Long haul delivery experience is a plus
- Ability to crystallize a problem and clearly define, analyze and articulate solutions
- Collaborative spirit who can work well with large cross-functional teams
- Motivated to learn, high energy level, etc
- Excellent written and verbal communicator; Strong business acumen, experience working with stakeholders, negotiation, etc.
- Attention to detail with the tenacity to dig into complex scenarios
