Description:
 We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Production Planning (PP) Consultant to support and enhance our SAP landscape in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SAP PP, a strong understanding of discrete manufacturing processes, and the ability to work closely with production teams to optimize planning, scheduling, and execution.
Role and Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP PP solutions tailored to manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to understand business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
  • Provide real-time support on the shop floor, triaging and resolving production issues to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements to streamline manufacturing workflows.
  • Support functional design, testing (UAT), and deployment of enhancements and new features.
  • Act as a super user and mentor for SAP PP, providing training and guidance to end users and new team members.
  • Integrate SAP PP with related modules such as MM, QM, WM/EWM, and PEO.
  • Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and training materials.
  • Stay current with SAP innovations and recommend relevant upgrades or enhancements.

Required Skills:
  • 10 + years of hands-on experience with SAP PP in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of discrete manufacturing, MRP, capacity planning, and shop floor control.
  • Experience with SAP PEO (Production Engineering and Operations) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SAP QM, WM/EWM, and integration points with other modules.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • SAP certification in PP or related modules preferred.
