Job Description
Education:
BS degree in Industrial Engineering or related technical discipline.
MBA degree.
Experience in manufacturing large engineer-to-order capital equipment environment.
Rail Industry experience.

Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
BS/BA in related technical discipline, or advanced degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5 years demonstrated experience in project management, industrial engineering, or operations management in an engineer-to-order, capital equipment manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated experience in the manufacturing of large and complex industrial products.

Responsibilities:
Drive production milestones to meet project schedule for vehicle delivery and acceptance.
Effectively communicate and manage project expectations to production team members and production stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
Organize interdepartmental activities and issues affecting production, including interactions with all Production departments, Industrial Engineering, Design Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality Management, and Project Management.
Develop and deliver monthly project reports, customer progress reports, customer change proposals, and presentations to management and internal / external stakeholders.
Coach, mentor and motivate project team members and contractors; influence them to take positive actions to forward the project in their assigned scope.
Report budget and schedule performance on a regular basis to the Project Management and initiate measures to mitigate any budget overruns or schedule slippage.
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential problems, devise contingency plans.
Drive cost reduction measures in operations departments related to the project.
Ensure all project quality requirements are met.
Coordinate and drive resolution of issues impacting successful production activities.
