About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our enterprise engineering team, supporting large-scale application deployment and automation efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS), automation scripting, and container orchestration. This role requires hands-on experience with modern DevOps tools and practices to improve software delivery efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple applications using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Deploy, monitor, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline application delivery and support release management.
- Manage source control repositories (Git), branching strategies, and version control workflows.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch.
- Optimize cloud environments for performance, cost, and security.
- Troubleshoot build failures, deployment issues, and environment inconsistencies.
- Ensure infrastructure as code (IaC) standards and best practices are followed.
- Support incident response and post-mortem analysis for production systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of IT experience with 4+ years in DevOps roles.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
- Strong experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other infrastructure automation tools.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Solid understanding of Linux/Unix administration, networking, and security fundamentals.
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, AKS, or EKS).
- Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of monitoring tools and system observability.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Helm charts, Istio, or service mesh architecture.
- Knowledge of GitOps practices and tools (ArgoCD, Flux).
- Exposure to microservices architecture and API gateways.
- Familiarity with security automation, vulnerability scanning, and DevSecOps principles.
- Experience integrating DevOps pipelines with QA automation frameworks.
