A Brief Overview
This role is for a Cyber Range Architect to design, develop, and run a Cyber Range for customers to participate in Capture the Flag (CTF) events, Red Team exercises, and cyber training. These events are offered to WWT customers as a product of the Advanced Technology Center (ATC) offering.

A Brief Overview
This role is for a Cyber Range Architect to design, develop, and run a Cyber Range for customers to participate in Capture the Flag (CTF) events, Red Team exercises, and cyber training. These events are offered to WWT customers as a product of the Advanced Technology Center (ATC) offering.
Job Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to obtain requirements and specifications for planned scenarios or training events to be conducted. Perform a wide range of system engineering tasks to support cyber range design, connectivity and systems integration
- Perform purple team activities to include attack simulations and network defense analysis on in-house cyber range to further develop attack detection on sensitive networks and increase the effectiveness of blue team operators
- Responsibility for system and administration for corporate cyber lab, including the administration of networking, virtualization, compute, and security technologies
- Compile & maintain resource documentation related to labs and events
- Live CTF event operational support of the Cyber Range
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Cybersecurity, Engineering, or Computer Science preferred
Work Experience
- A minimum of 3 years' progressive experience in a related field preferred
Other Work Experience
- Experience in penetration testing, offensive security, and/or red teaming that can relate to a Cyber Range
- Experience with multiple open source tools for security testing that can relate to a Cyber Range
- Experience with industry standard security best practices and multiple techniques for penetration testing
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Fundamental knowledge of Networking, Compute, Virtualization
- Broad technical knowledge of security products, tools, techniques, and controls
- Ability to collaborate and share knowledge within a fast-moving, multifaceted Cyber Range environment
- Develop and execute training exercises and Capture the Flag scenarios in a controlled Cyber Range environment
Travel Requirements
- Up to 10% of the time Domestic Travel only
