Job Summary:
Agreeya is a Global integrator and seeking a Technical Writer.

 

Objective:
In this role, you'll develop essential documentation, training materials, and best practice guides to support League Studio's telemetry and analytics program. Working alongside a talented team of data analysts and engineers, you'll help craft high-quality content that drives adoption of tools, streamlines workflows, and empowers game teams to succeed.
You'll report to the League Studio Knowledge Management lead within Tech Foundations and play a key role in shaping how knowledge is shared across one of gaming's most iconic studios.
Responsibilities:
Partner with product owners, engineers, solutions architects, and data analysts to gather information through interviews and strategy sessions
Develop high-quality technical documentation, including:
Information architectures for the telemetry and analytics program
Training modules on data science fundamentals
Overviews of data management processes such as modeling, telemetry implementation, testing, promotion, and deployment
Standards and best practice guides for implementing, testing, and shipping telemetry to live environments
Diagrams that clearly illustrate data management processes and system architectures
Practical examples of querying and visualizing data within the central data warehouse
Collaborate with other technical writers to promote a culture of documentation excellence, set quality standards, and drive long-term compliance
Contribute to the design and ongoing improvement of documentation management processes, standards, repositories, and related structures
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 years of technical writing experience in the tech or games industry
Extensive experience working with engineering teams to document processes, procedures, usage instructions and best practices for software systems
Ability to learn highly technical products quickly
Ability to interview engineers, data platform teams, and analysts to gather information effectively
Champion of fundamental technical writing principles
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field
Experience working in the games industry
Experience working in the field of data & analytics, including familiarity with:
Data analytics, data catalog/governance platforms, data governance concepts
Common business metrics used in the gaming industry
Gaming industry telemetry flows
Data security and compliance concepts and policies
Data visualization tools
AI/ML use cases in the gaming industry
Understanding of source control systems and maintaining multiple versions of content
Experience working with the Notion platform
Familiar with Git, JIRA, and Google Suite
