Job Details
Role: Microsoft Fabric Architect with Admin focus
Location: Remote
Key responsibilities
- Architecture and Implementation
- Design end to end Fabric solutions (Lakehouses, Data warehouses, Data Engineering, Data Science, Power BI)
- Implement scalable data pipelines, delta tables and Power BI integrations
- Optimize performance, capacity, and cost management (Fabric SKU s, autoscaling).
- Hands-on Fabric administration
- Manage Fabric workspaces, capacity settings and item deployments via Admin Portal/ PowerShell.
- Monitor usage, performance metrics and troubleshoot issues (Spark Jobs, T-SQL, gateway issues).
- Configure data retention, refresh policies and integration with Azure services.
- Security and Governance
- Implement security controls: RBAC, RLS, CLS and data sensitivity labels.
- Enforce data loss prevention policies and Microsoft Purview integration.
- Develop governance and security framework for Microsoft Fabric
Requirements:
- Strong experience in data platform architecture, particularly with Microsoft Fabric.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing, security/compliance, and governance.
- Experience with Fabric API s, CI/CD pipelines..
- Certifications in Microsoft Fabric is a plus
