Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Front End Developer to join our product development team. You will play a pivotal role in architecting, developing, and optimizing user interfaces for our SaaS platform as well as desktop and mobile applications. You will collaborate with designers, backend developers, quality analysts and product managers to deliver seamless and engaging user experiences across multiple innovative platforms to meet the evolving needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the design, development, and optimization of robust, scalable, and responsive front-end applications for SaaS, desktop, and mobile solutions.
  2. Translate UI/UX design wireframes into high-quality code and reusable components.
  3. Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver feature-rich applications.
  4. Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility, performance, and accessibility.
  5. Implement and advocate for best practices in front end architecture, coding standards, and testing.
  6. Mentor junior team members and participate in code reviews to maintain quality.
  7. Stay up to date on emerging technologies and frameworks relevant to front end development.
  8. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for performance and scalability.
  9. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process and workflows.
  10. Adhere to all NOV HSE policies, utilize appropriate PPE, and actively participate in monthly safety meetings.

Required Skills & Experience:
  1. 7+ years of professional front end development experience, including SaaS platforms and/or cross-platform desktop/mobile applications.
  2. Expert proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
  3. Extensive experience with modern front-end frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  4. Strong experience with state management (Redux, NgRx, MobX, Context API, etc.).
  5. Hands-on experience with responsive and adaptive design for desktop and mobile devices.
  6. Familiarity with desktop app frameworks (e.g., Electron, Tauri) and mobile web/app technologies (e.g., React Native, Flutter, PWA).
  7. Proficient with visualization tools (e.g., HighCharts, Grafana)
  8. Proficient with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.
  9. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and integration, best practices.
  10. Familiarity with C++, C#, Java, .NET, Entity Framework
  11. Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools (Jest, Cypress, Testing Library, etc.).
  12. Experience with performance optimization and monitoring tools.
  13. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have:
  1. Experience with cloud-based SaaS platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  2. Knowledge of design systems and component libraries (Storybook, Material UI, Ant Design, etc.).
  3. Understanding of security best practices for web and mobile applications.
  4. Contribution to open-source projects or a strong technical portfolio.
  5. Familiarity with backend technologies (Node.js, Python, etc.) and DevOps practices.
  6. Experience with Upstream Oil & Gas operations.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
