RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Systems Application Administrator in Charlotte, NC.
Responsibilities:
* Systems Application Administrator will actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
* Review business enhancement requests, requirements, interdependencies, potential risks, user stories, business process descriptions, use cases, user stories, and workflow analysis
* Provide level of effort and estimates for enhancement requests
* Manage multiple enhancement initiatives and ongoing daily support for vendor hosted applications
* Work independently and with team members to resolve incidents and problems for the production application in accordance with identified Service Level Agreements
* Analyze application-related problems, coordinating with multiple in-house teams to diagnose and fix operational issues
* As a Systems Application Administrator, you will mentor and share knowledge with other team members as well as consulting, advising and training on specialized features and functions
* Participate in continuous performance improvement sessions to review and discuss opportunities to improve processes, standards and application efficiencies
* Design, configure, code and test enhancements for the application. Review and test enhancements assigned to team members when required
* Prepare and maintain functional and technical documentation
* Follow established corporate configuration and change control processes
* Engaging/working with vendor on application outage escalations, application upgrade support, application performance and support case monitoring
* Assist with Monthly Operational Reporting to Senior Management - Support Cases Closed, Status on Project Initiatives
REQUIREMENTS:
* BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, related field or equivalent work experience
* 3 years of experience with application administration, Development
* 3 years of experience with configuration, design, coding and testing
* Solid technical knowledge of Information Technology field and computer systems
* Creative and abstract thinking skills to envision and design innovative solutions to business opportunities and challenges
* Strong communication skills (written, interpersonal, presentation), with the ability to easily and effectively interact and negotiate with business stakeholders
* Proven leadership abilities including ability to share knowledge, resolve conflict and create consensus
* Demonstrated ability to take the lead on complex projects
* Strong ability to pick up complex concepts and processes quickly
* Proven ability to work independently; designing, developing and deploying solutions, and to deliver projects on time
* Ability to listen and evaluate all opinions without bias, and contribute to a common culture of excellence
* Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
* Ability to identify measures or indicators of application performance and the actions needed to improve or correct application performance
* Ability to deal with ambiguity, uncertainty, and incomplete information when evaluating alternatives and making recommendations
* Ability to work seamlessly within a team as well as manage individual tasks
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
