Job Title: Sr. Python Developer (with Kubernetes)
Location: Jersey City, NJ - Hybrid Role
Duration: 6 months plus
Description:
At this time, we are only considering candidates in the NY Tristate area who are willing to work onsite at the client location in Jersey City, NJ, in a hybrid arrangement (approximately 4 days per week onsite).
This role is for a strong technical senior developer/architect. The ideal candidate must have excellent technical skills as well as strong oral and written communication abilities, as they will be engaging with director-level client personnel and must be able to confidently assert their viewpoint.

Required:
- Senior Hands-on Python/Kubernetes Developer (ideally with Payments experience).
- At least 6-8 years of hands on experience and strong in Python, Kubernetes and SQL.
- Seasoned practitioner who is well organized, can perform well in a developer capacity in an "individual contributor role, while also being a team player working with geographically distributed teams (US, Canada, India).
- Any Financial Services Payments experience (e.g., working with and knowledge of SWIFT MT and MX messages) would be a definite plus, but is not a hard requirement.
- Strong preference to candidates in NY Tristate area and willing to work out of the client site (Jersey City, NJ) in a hybrid manner (~4 days/week onsite); however will also consider strong candidates that match job requirements but are not located in the NY Tristate area (Eastern time zone full business hours overlap needed).
