Role Title: SAP CO Consultant

Duration: 6 month contract to hire

Preferred Location: Local to Chicago or Milwaukee for hybrid model (2 days onsite, 3 remote)

Role Description:
We are seeking a Senior SAP Controlling (CO) Consultant with deep functional expertise and hands-on experience to support a global manufacturing client undergoing an SAP ECC to S/4HANA transformation. This role will be critical in bridging operational finance and IT, ensuring robust cost accounting, reporting accuracy, and integration across SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide deep SAP CO expertise to support global finance and manufacturing operations.
• Drive enhancements and support within SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve gaps in cost allocations, settlements, and manufacturing reporting.
• Support service/repair order processes, WIP tracking, and cost distribution activities.
• Work closely with IT, Finance, and external vendors (e.g., EY, Ariba).

Required Skills and Experience:

8+ years of hands-on SAP Controlling (CO) experience.

Proven expertise in:

• Cost Center Accounting & Internal Orders
• Product Costing (standard & actual)
• Settlements and Allocations
• WIP, Service Orders, and Maintenance Orders
• Strong understanding of integration with SAP FI, MM, and PP modules.
• Experience in hybrid/global delivery environments.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting manufacturing clients in a global context.
• Track record of success on SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
