Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Virtual Chief Information Officer (vCIO) to join our team and act as a trusted advisor for our clients. In this role, you will provide leadership and guidance to businesses on aligning IT strategies with overall business goals while driving innovation, efficiency, and security. If you have a strong background in IT leadership, with expertise in Cloud technologies, Infrastructure, Security, and pre-sales activities, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic IT Leadership: Serve as a virtual CIO for clients, developing IT strategies aligned with their core business objectives and enabling their growth and innovation.
  • Infrastructure Management: Provide high-level oversight and recommendations for IT infrastructure design, implementation, and optimization to ensure scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Cloud Strategy: Advise on Cloud adoption strategies, migrations, and ongoing management, leveraging expertise in platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
  • Security and Risk Management: Work with clients to assess their current security posture, recommend solutions to safeguard assets, and assist in regulatory compliance.
  • Client Engagement and Pre-Sales: Partner with business development teams to deliver IT expertise during pre-sales activities, including client meetings, proposals, and presentations.
  • Project Oversight: Oversee strategic IT projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and successful delivery on time and within budget.
  • Vendor Relationships: Manage relationships with technology vendors, ensuring clients receive solutions tailored to their needs and cost-effective procurement processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of industry trends and recommend emerging technologies and processes that enhance business operations.


Requirements

Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experienceas a CIO, IT Director, or similar senior IT leadership role across diverse industries.
  • Expertise inCloud technologies(e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), Infrastructure management, and IT Security best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience inpre-sales activities, including collaborating with sales teams and conveying technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of IT strategy, ITIL frameworks, and enterprise-wide project management principles.
  • Proven ability to influence and lead executives, technical staff, and cross-functional teams with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to deliver IT insights and strategic recommendations clearly and effectively.
