Job Details

We are seeking experienced Record To Report process owners to assist our client with a global SAP S/4HANA implementation. The ideal candidate will have SAP experience and possess the ability to evaluate varied AS IS regional business processes and functional requirements and collaborate with the Global Process Lead to determine the best path to move those processes toward the global standard.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in Solution Confirmation workshops for designated process areas.
  • Supports evaluation of AS IS operational issues and highlighted global solution roadblocks and propose alternatives that lead to adoption of the global standard with minimal to no customization.
  • Responsible for deliverables (Review/Approve documentation of Business Process Requirements changes, Review/Approve documentation of Business Process Design changes, Review/Approve Business Process Model changes, lead Functional Testing, configure Allocations and Top-down Distributions, lead System Integration Testing, contribute to bug resolution, collaborate with local Implementation team to deliver User Acceptance Testing, ensure ECC to S/4 Cutover data validation, and support Hypercare).
  • Under the direction of the Global Process Lead and/or Global Process Owner adopt the global template or design any required customization for the Implementation phase of the project.
  • Review any adopted design alternatives with Business User Experts for confirmation of alternative design
  • Review draft solutions with regional senior managers and key users for awareness, socialization and support of global solution
  • Primary point of contact for clarification of requirements during the Program Increment and Build Phase.

Skill Requirements:

  • 10 years of SAP Finance experience.
  • 5 years of RTR Process Owner experience.
  • Global implementation or process owner experience.
  • SAP S/4HANA subject matter expertise in one or more of the following areas:

o Intercompany

o Product Costing

o Projects and Assets

o External and Statutory Reporting

o Allocations

  • Experience developing solutions that deliver process improvement/standardization.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.
  • Ability to navigate and be comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Strong organizational, change management and execution skills, along with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and drive multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills.
