Job Details
Role: SAP Integration (PI/PO and ABAP) Consultant
Location: Texas/ Remote
Duration: Contract
- Resource will be part of the Integration team working on PI/PO and ABAP side of integrations for Materials Management, Sales & Distribution, Warehouse Management, Finance.
- Perform PI development to enhance/create interfaces to support business needs
- Communicate and work with support users as necessary to resolve application errors
- Develop interfaces using ABAP proxies, IDOCs
- Enhance Enterprise services
- Participate in code review sessions with other team members
- Collaborate with the Functional and Business teams to understand requirement, issues and provide solutions
- Document changes
Skill set required
At least 7+ years experience in developing integrations using PI/PO and S/4, specifically in the following areas but not limited to:
- Object Oriented ABAP
- IDOC development
- Enhancement (User-Exists, BADIs)
- Reports (Classical, Interactive, ALV GRID, ALV trees)
- Well versed with FEH
- Performance tuning, Code Review
- 2 to 3 years of experience in AIF
- Experience developing interfaces using SAP PI/PO 7.4, 7.5
- Hands-on experience with common adapters (File, JDBC, JMS, REST, SOAP, SFTP, IDOC)
- Thorough knowledge of PI architecture
- The consultant is expected to leverage ABAP and PI solutions tied to integrations using the above methods/technologies.
