Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP BRIM Functional Lead to support a large-scale billing and revenue modernization program. The ideal candidate will be an SAP-BRIM expert with deep experience in high-volume, consumption-based billing, Order-to-Cash processes, and leading enterprise-level implementation projects.

You will lead requirement workshops, design end-to-end BRIM solutions, provide SME guidance, manage testing cycles, and support business process transformation from legacy systems to modern SAP BRIM platforms.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Workshops & Requirements

  • Lead workshops to gather and document requirements for a new billing and revenue system.

  • Develop Agile product backlog artifacts including service blueprints, end-to-end flows, features, user stories, tasks, test scenarios, and RICEFs.

  • Lead workshops to introduce new Order-to-Cash processes and facilitate user training sessions.

Functional Leadership & SME Responsibilities

  • Serve as the client-facing liaison for design, development, testing, and hypercare phases.

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for SAP BRIM processes, configuration, and implementation-specific functions.

  • Create business process documentation and user readiness materials.

Testing & Validation

  • Lead System Integration Testing (SIT) and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • Design and execute integration testing for legacy-to-SAP transformations.

  • Perform root-cause analysis and resolve defects related to system or data issues.

  • Support billing validation and ensure accurate data migration/conversions.

Collaboration & Delivery

  • Work independently while maintaining strong relationships with business owners, technology teams, vendors, and project sponsors.

  • Participate in project team activities and ensure alignment with project goals, timelines, and governance.

  • Adhere to organizational standards, policies, and procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 15+ years of experience in Billing and SAP BRIM implementation projects.

  • SAP BRIM systems expert with hands-on experience in high-volume, consumption-based billing.

  • Strong experience with end-to-end Order-to-Cash business process design and optimization.

  • Proven ability to lead workshops and write functional specifications across SAP BRIM/FICA (SOM, CI, CM, CC, FICA).

  • Hands-on configuration experience in pricing, rating, billing, and invoicing (CC, CM, CI).

  • Strong knowledge of SAP FICA including dunning and collection configuration.

  • Experience in designing automation test processes for SAP BRIM implementations.

  • Ability to interpret complex B2B contract structures and map them into configurable billing solutions.

  • Proficiency with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.

  • Experience managing global billing operations.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • Experience using Microsoft ADO Testing Module.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with enterprise SAP solutions.

  • Knowledge of ITIL / ITSM methodologies.
