Job Description:
Job Summary & Core Responsibilities
Apply analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills to maximize IT system investments.
Collaborate with decision makers, system owners, and end users to:
Define business, financial, and operational requirements.
Identify and resolve system issues.
Provide project oversight and direction across the full project lifecycle:
Scoping, initiation, planning, and design
Permit and easement acquisition
Civil and electrical construction
Project close-out activities
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders (cities, counties, regulatory agencies, customers) to resolve permitting, design, construction, and easement issues.
Ensure project completion within budget and schedule while meeting operational targets and KPIs.
Use project controls for:
Budget/schedule management
Forecasting and variance analysis
Performance monitoring
Maintain detailed project schedules, plans, and reports.
Foster a safety-conscious work environment by following established safety protocols.
Required Skills & Qualifications
7+ years of project management or project support experience.
Bachelor s degree in business, technical, or related field (or equivalent education/experience).
Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP).
Experience in engineering, construction, utilities, and/or substations.
Proficient in project management tools, especially Primavera P6.
Skilled in preparing detailed reports, documents, and correspondence for stakeholders.
Experience maintaining records, logs, databases, and other documentation to track:
Costs, budgets, schedules, production variance, and status updates.
Experience conducting risk analysis and researching project data using spreadsheets, databases, and internal systems.
Ability to work independently on multiple concurrent assignments with minimal oversight.
Strong ability to integrate work across departments, manage complex information, and deliver outstanding customer service.
