FS 80% BE 20% FE (Java, SQL, Cloud)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a FS 80% BE 20% FE (Java, SQL, Clous) in Westlake, TX.

Duties Include:
* Act as a trusted advisor and recommend useful solutions in support of the business initiatives balancing technology direction
* Hands on, able to act as a link between architecture principles and designs along with intent to collaborate to make things happen
* Lead and present a technical solution and the underlying business requirements that drive its development
* Work closely with IT Product/Application teams in technology selection, evaluation, recommendation, and configuration

REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle process required
* Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies based on iterative development
* Application development and Maintenance using Java EE, Spring Boot framework
* Understanding of and experience with Micro-Services Architecture concepts and emerging patterns such as APIs, JAX-RS, REST/JSON
* Relational databases like DB2/Oracle/Postgres (Sound knowledge on SQL is must)
* Event driver transaction processing and messaging patterns using technologies such as ActiveMQ, Tomcat, Azure Service Bus, etc.
* Security integration using oAuth and LDAP
* Experience with tools like the following: GIT, Maven, Jenkins, uDeploy, JIRA, Artifactory, Dynatrace, Sonar
* Cloud deployment models. Exposure to any public cloud like AWS, Azure, google
* Hands on FULL STACK experience is preferable, where you should have developed UI integrating with backend APIs
* Knowledge on Angular JS or React JS is nice to have

Good To Have:
* Knowledge of adaptable web design and technologies
* Knowledge of continuous integration, static code analysis and test driven development
* Knowledge of streaming technologies like Kafka
* Knowledge on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure (preferred)
* Knowledge of container management technologies like Kubernetes

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
