WWT is looking for an experienced and skilled Oracle DBA for hands-on engineering and administrative role. This position is primarily responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle EBS and Oracle multi-tenant databases that support our business needs. You will also be expected to collaborate with other developers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure the quality and performance of our hybrid ERP environment (WWT datacenters/Oracle OCI).

The candidate will provide technical expertise related to Oracle EBS R12.2/Oracle Cloud Fusion products. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment at a strategic level, as well as balancing day to day hands-on technical activities.

As a Oracle Database Engineer on the ERP team your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Maintaining technical relevance on Oracle E-Business Suite and Cloud Fusion products over their product release lifecycles
• Maintaining technical documentation that supports the various systems
• Maintaining and improving end-to-end monitoring of the platforms for both performance and availability
• Troubleshooting complex functional and technical incidents occurring within the various applications
• Perform production level support, and be part of the 24x7 on-call rotation per published schedule
• Cloning and refreshing ERP/EBS environments.
• Identifying and collecting key performance metrics (KPIs) to help the DBA team better understand its product and how it relates to its customers and stakeholders experience.
• Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with vendors
• Working with project teams as required to design technical solutions to address project requirements
• Managing and balancing conflicting internal customer needs on the ERP systems.
• Preparing reports on administration best practices, new technologies, and recommending enhancements and configuration changes to improve and optimize the environment

• Ability to work with team members located in multiple geographies and time zones.
• Being able to objectively look at problems and create innovative solutions on your own through automation and outside of the box thinking

Minimum Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

• Bachelor s degree related to Computer Science/Information Systems is preferred OR equivalent working experience administering Oracle eBusiness Suite
• Minimum of 2 year of Oracle EBS 12.2 administration experience
• Fusion Cloud experience
• Familiarity with the principles, methods, and techniques used in ERP systems administration and ability to use relevant hardware and software.

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• Oracle high availability (RAC, DataGuard)
• Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.2+)
• 19C RAC or above core database experience
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control
• Proficient with complimentary technologies, such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Working knowledge of scripting languages, Terraform Bash, Perl, Python, etc.
• Familiarity with Agile principals and methodology
• Experience with a ticket system such as Service Now or like system
