Job Details

We are seeking a talented AWS Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team for a 15-month contract opportunity. This role offers the chance to work on innovative cloud migration projects while collaborating with a diverse group of professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor team members, providing technical direction and support in a collaborative environment.
  • Develop and implement new products and processes based on business requirements.
  • Document, analyze, and troubleshoot issues, implementing effective solutions.
  • Manage cloud service implementations and integrations with in-house applications.
  • Conduct research and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance existing systems.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and guidelines throughout the development process.

Skills

  • Proficient in application development languages and frameworks, particularly TypeScript and PostgreSQL.
  • Strong experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud-native services.
  • Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD practices using GitLab.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as React and Node.js.
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
