Job Details

The AIML Data Collections team manages data studies throughout Apple. In this role you will engage with client teams to oversee global user studies used to develop our most critical software and hardware. You will rely heavily on your strong program management skills and your ability to lead project managers to success.

Description You are a proven people and program manager who can thrive in a fast-paced workplace where both individual drive and team collaboration are the keys to success. You will collaborate with the client teams to design, manage and oversee global user studies to gather data to use to develop our most critical software and hardware. You will lead a team of program managers to plan and track delivery timelines, and provide technical expertise and leadership across a suite of projects to ensure the final deliveries meet the customers' expectations. You will deliver monthly volume forecast & capacity planning and handle resource and vendor management. You will oversee operational responsibilities including workflow management and process improvement. You will engage with your stakeholders regularly and you will be an exceptional coach, mentor and leader for a critical team.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's of Science degree or equivalent
  • 8+ years of program management and passionate about delivering good quality data within project timelines
  • Strong experience in client management, establishing relationships and leading multi-functional projects
  • Adept at coaching, leading and motivating a project management team
  • Highly organized and skilled in budget management and forecast preparation
  • Some travel may be required

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing complex data collection and annotation projects is a plus
  • Consistent focus on improving, standardizing and automating existing processes
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to work in a self-directed environment, and ability to present to senior management
  • Experience managing vendors and vendor contracting
  • Able to work collaboratively with engineers across organizations and time zones
  • High degree of adaptability, flexibility, creative decision-making and technical problem-solving abilities
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture while working with ambiguity and uncertainty
  • Strong decision making and good judgment

Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $173,100 and $301,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
