Job Title: Machine Learning Engineer (Google Vertex AI Specialist)

Role Overview: We are seeking experienced Machine Learning Engineers specializing in Google Vertex AI to join our team. The successful candidates will be integral in supporting machine learning initiatives, including critical platform migrations, model deployment, and optimization tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the migration and deployment of machine learning models to Google Vertex AI.
• Review, validate, and operationalize machine learning model and store artifacts to be infered to, such as scoring code and feature lists, within Vertex AI.
• Develop and deploy Dockerized training and scoring jobs/services for local and cloud-based testing and deployment.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver aligned solutions.
• Document infrastructure designs, migration steps, deployment strategies, and functional/non-functional specifications.
• Provide continuous support, troubleshooting, and optimization post-deployment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Demonstrable expertise with Google Vertex AI.
• Proven track record in migrating machine learning models from various platforms to Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
• Strong proficiency in handling and deploying Java-based scoring codes (JAR files).
• Extensive experience in Docker containerization and deploying models in both local and cloud environments.
• Deep understanding of Google Cloud Platform infrastructure, including environment setup and deployment methodologies.
• Exceptional communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and collaboration across teams.
• Consulting abilities to provide strategic insights and guidance throughout project lifecycles.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with healthcare analytics and related machine learning models.
• Experience managing high-priority projects with tight deadlines.
