- Strong hands-on experience with KDB+/q with at least 3+ years of recent experience in financial services. Solid understanding of equites trading/trading floor environment
- Strong experience with designing scalable & highly available enterprise data platform to handle fast moving real-time queries as well as multiple year historical query.
- Good Understanding of Capital Market products including Reference and Transaction data.
- Good working knowledge of Linux environments and scripting languages such as Bash, and Perl
- Experience with Agile methodology and tools such as SVN, Git, Jenkins, Nexus and Jira
- Ideal candidate has an aptitude for performing analytics on very large data sets, typically time series data.
- Good communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of Python is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Pre and Post trade analytics, machine learning and pattern recognition is advantageous.
- Understanding of build and deployment management
