Job Title: Data Engineer – Senior Consultant

Location: Miramar, FL (Hybrid – 4 days onsite) (Local Only)

Overview
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer (Consultant level) with strong Databricks and cloud data engineering experience to design and deliver scalable analytics solutions. This role requires a mix of hands-on technical expertise, client-facing communication, and end-to-end data pipeline ownership.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and optimize cloud-based data architectures
• Develop and maintain end-to-end data pipelines (ingestion, transformation, storage)

• Implement data engineering solutions using Databricks & Spark/ PySpark

• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Ensure data quality, security, and governance across platforms
• Collaborate directly with stakeholders and manage client expectations
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience, with strong cloud focus
• Hands-on expertise with Databricks and Apache Spark / PySpark
• Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, and/or SQL
• Knowledge of data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing
• Proven delivery of at least two end-to-end data engineering implementations
• Excellent communication skills and client-facing experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
